The 1st annual event run and walk is in memory of Marilyn Tudor who lost her courageous battle with a cancerous brain tumor in the fall of 2010.

The Marilyn Tudor Project was founded in 2011 and is the direct beneficiary of The Born To Run or Walk 5K. This year’s proceeds from the Marilyn Tudor Project will benefit UC Health, A Cure Starts Now and Hospice of Cincinnati.

The 2011 Born To Run includes a 5K Run/Walk; Kid’s Fun Run, Silent Auction, Zhu Zhu Pet Races, music by the Modulators, food, fun and much more.

COURSE

The 5K event will begin at the UC Health West Chester Hospital.

RESTRICTIONS

For safety reasons, in-line skates, ipods, skateboards and dogs will be prohibited from the race course.

START TIME

The 5K race will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the PARKING LOT OF THE UC HEALTH WEST CHESTER HOSPITAL.

FLUID STATIONS

There will be one fluid station on the course.

PACKET PICK-UP

Participants may pick up race packets and register for the races at the Buckeye Running Company, 4200 Aero Dr., Mason, Ohio 45040 (near intersection of Western Row & Tylersville) on the following days:

• Tuesday, August 30 from 12 Noon to 7 p.m.
• Wednesday, August 31 from 12 Noon to 7 p.m.
• Thursday, September 1 from 12 Noon to 7 p.m.

RACE DAY PACKET PICK-UP

Participants may pick up packets for the race on race day near the start line beginning at 5 p.m.

RACE DAY REGISTRATION

Race day registration begins at 5 p.m. near the start line in the parking lot of the University of Cincinnati Health, West Chester Hospital. Race entry on race day is $35 (5K) and $15 (Kid’s Fun Run).
