Show Up and Do Your Best
I want to talk about doing your very best. You need to show up at workouts and in life wanting to do your best. Always trust that things will be good for that day. Trust that it is all happening perfectly. You will have good days and bad days, but letting go of the negative is what is important. People tend to dwell on the negative because of their fear of failure. And this fear of failing is the number one reason people don’t succeed. Don’t over evaluate! If every thing we did in life was easy, life would be boring. When you have a bad day ask yourself, ask your coaches, what you could have done differently. This will help you be enriched by whatever life brings you. You will learn and you will grow.
Becoming fit is a journey, not a destination. People focus too much on the “dream vacation” in life. What if you make a wrong turn, or it rains? What if you pack wrong for the trip? Learn to let go of the negative chatter in your mind. Just show up, listen, laugh and as my good friends at Nike would say, “Just do it!”
Trust in yourself, trust others and just do what your capable of doing. Nothing more and nothing less!
